I do lots of side stripes, rally stripes and god ... just 'racing' stripes of every kind (even that nazi arm band stripe corvette people are infatuated with) ... last week had a car club come in with their pickups and all three got that vertical bed stripe with their car club emblem in it .. good stuff, easy 2 hours worth of work for all 3 trucks.
For a rally stripe ... $800 is a little on the high side, depending on what it is ... most rally stripes i've done have been around $400-600. And yeah, probably about 3-4 hours.
As for vinyl, wrapping cast is nice, but overly expensive and overkill for most stripe jobs. just use a good high performance vinyl, and take your time.
