The post earlier today "Why must customers design banners in photoshop" got me thinking about this. We have a lot of walk in customers that think that they can design their own signs in Microsoft whatever and use crappy jpeg's from their Google search. I want to put something up that has what we require for graphics and have images to show the difference like Gino said. I guess I will sit down tonight and start working on it. If I can just have one person say "Oh, I understand, why don't you design it for me." Then I can charge them for the design time. Or, someone says "I understand, I will get you good art." Then my time will be worth it. I know this is not likely to happen because customers don't care, they want it to look great, be cheap, and done fast. I usually tell them they can have two of those three options.
