Rocking with Gigi in Phoenix!!!

Got back this week from a 2 week trip to Phoenix/Scottsdale. Had an absolute fabulous time down there. LOVE that area and would move there in a heart beat! We spent a lot of time touring around the area. I FINALLY got my picture I wanted in front of a mammoth cactus!! We worked out like mad while we were there, and relaxed just as hard.

I met so many wonderful people. Even met a 3-time Superbowl champ from the New England Patriots... Joe Andruzzi. What a nice guy he is!!

But... I must say that the absolute highlight of the trip was meeting my dear friend Gigi! She is every bit as sweet as I knew she would be and then some! Her husband is also a great person and it was so amazing to get to know them both. Love you to bits Gigi Can't wait to make my way to your neck of the woods sooner than later!

I bought two hats while in Scottsdale and love them! They are now part of my new persona! (is that right??)

So it gets a little warm in the summer. A 2-3 hour drive up north puts you at 6000 feet and 30 degrees cooler with some of the best lake fishing anywhere. For me and mine there is no better place to live. Glad you had a good time T3.

Actually, my first time in Phoenix was last August 2012 for a week. It was on average 115 during the day and it would cool off to 90 at night. I LOVED IT! The heat doesn't bother me. A few years back we travelled to Egypt for 2 weeks and it made Phoenix look like the Arctic! Even at my top weight when I was in Egypt, the heat didn't phase me! I guess I'm a hot weather person. Just happens that I was born in Canada where we don't find that kind of heat. I can guarantee that when it comes time to retire, we are headed south somewhere. Likely Scottsdale or Panama... we will see!!

And yes, (I hope I don't get in trouble for saying this...) Gigi is smokin' hot! I'm very happily married (as is Gigi), but I gotta say... if she were single, and I were single... But, if that were the case, I'm sure I'd be up against some formidable competition!

I respect Gigi and love her like I've known her all my life. I haven't told her this, but she inspires me daily! Wendy & I will definitely be seeing more of her and her hubby and getting to know them better! It's funny how sometimes you just make that "connection" with someone. That is happening a lot lately with me, and I am fortunate and grateful to have met the people I have over the last couple of years. A lot of you on here (you know who you are) are on that list too! Love my Pennsylvania peeps!
