Sorry to bring back an old thread, but thanks for posting this, using it now to print up some charts since Versaworks wants to lock up every time I try to load any of them directly from the program.

Is there a way to drop these colors into photo shop as well ?

Photoshop is a raster design program. You can't use spot colors in raster design without getting all crazy using alpha channels.

Illustrator would be a more appropriate choice for working with spot color graphics.
