The most important factor to consider is the sq.ft. of sign and the height to the center of the wind load. A 32sf sign that is 8' to the center of the wind load requires smaller posts
and smaller footings than that same sign 12' to the center of the wind load. Always be sure your footing is below the frost line in your area. Your posts and footings need to be
correct for your wind load.

Wow, that's a little beyond a post and panel install. You'd probably do better to start your own thread looking for polesign installers in Ohio. You'll need engineering, and potentially certified welder. This would work as a 12" round pipe, schedule 40, at 30' long, or a two stage install, 12" pipe at 20' long, second stage of 8" pipe, pipe rings, cap, and about a day of welding alone. You may also need to build a rebar cage.
I was thinking 2- 6" post. trying to figure what kind of footer or how deep in the ground this should be so I can get a quote or an idea of price.

So, how do you make a 12ft tall fence with 12ft long posts if you plan to bury 1/3 of the post?
you tell them to leave the extra 4ft on the 16ft posts.

you just join two posts together with a roll of duct tape :p
