Scanning Question.

I now have my SP-300 printing and cutting perfect and the color profiles I am using in Colorip look great.
When I am printing my images they are not printing the full width or scan directon of the media and instead each print is below the first one and so on.
What settings need to be adjusted to print the width of the media or the full scan direction of the media?
When I am in Colorip I use the print horizontal button and I have also tried the print vertical button so I am thinking it is a setting on the printer that is set wrong.
Thanks Jim

The scan print area is based on the pinch roller positions and/or the media settings within the RIP software. Printer will only print the media located between the two pinch rollers.

Pinch Rollers

Bobby:

I have the pinch rollers set up on the media all the way to the outside.

My print area says 28.1

When I start printing the first image comes out fine but instead of the second image being printing about 1/2" next to the first image it is being printed below the first image.

Just not sure what I am doing wrong but I am sure it is something simple.

Jim, is this happening in a nested run, or separate runs?

If separate: This is normal (same happens on our vp-540) unless you use the buttons to move the print head into the next desired start location, and set it as the basepoint.

Thanks for your help.

After looking at the Colorip over and over I set the manuel layout setting and then just hit 5 copies and view and there they were.

They printed and cut perfect with 5 images in each row.

Now for finding the right profiles for Orajet 010 white and I will be all set.

Thanks again Jim Hill
