Some nice looking stuff. You guys have got the skills. We don't do very many wraps in our neck of the woods. We just finished a partial wrap on our shop truck but it doesn't meet the contest requirements. Being a partial wrap I don't think it's as impressive as some of the stuff posted here anyway.

It would be cool if shop trucks where allowed if you do this contest again in the future. I feel you can let you imagination run wild and have more freedom when working on your own stuff. As a result I think shop trucks have the potential to be more impressive contest entries.

Actually, I was just trying to help another S101 member. I wasn't calling anyone out... but rather, trying to protect you. I understand you are getting defensive because everyone here believes you are wrong and you probably feel like you are being attacked. That's because most everyone here is pretty well-versed in intellectual property laws. We deal with it every day. I know what I will and will not print for customers... let alone myself or my company.

The fact of the matter is, it doesn't matter what YOU think or believe or perceive the law to be. Whoever owns the rights to the likeness of the Incredible Hulk (probably Marvel Comics or whoever) has every right to pursue legal action against you. I'm pretty confident they have a whole lot more money than you too. You will probably first receive a cease and desist order, then have a law suit filed against you and be forced to argue your case in court. Are you prepared to do that just to have something that looks incredibly like the incredible hulk on the side of you van? Really? Why not try something unique and original to brand yourself?

I can appreciate your wanting to help, really, but I am not the least bit defensive and don't feel like I am being attacked (after some of the posts I have seen here) and I appreciate your concern. But while we are on the subject, are you saying that in your entire career, that a customer hasn't brought you artwork or asked you to use artwork you KNOW came from another source (no matter how obscure) and you printed it or changed it to use in another venue? Might be a hard pill to swallow. But if not, good on you.

Aside from that, this is a design that will change frequently and not something meant to brand us, and that is by design. And you are right, our original artwork will be introduced as a transition to the final design.

Looks like you could remove the hulk image from the bottom of the windows up and fill it w/ the green flames for a quick fix...

He's adding all the trimmings back on to the truck. They're all chrome and powder coated.. they look real good.
ill post some up when he sends them to me.

It was bare aluminum on the top half before we wrapped it.
