First off I have the sp-300 with the wasatich colorRip 2.2v and 6.9v firmware.
I spent the better part of 12 hours taking apart my machine and cleaning the encoder strip, the strip sensor, the sensor on the cutter. Did the environment match. Did the print-cut auto alignment as well as the manual alignment. No matter what I do the result is the same. (pictured below) Normally this wouldn't be a problem for most jobs but I have to do small circular stickers and they look like sh*t and its for a record label.
My stats on my printer are... Doesn't seem to do anything even if either is changed.
Cutting Calib. (F/S) : 0.00 / 0.00%
Print-cut adjust (F/S) : 0.00 / -0.90mm
I'm sure there is some way of adjusting this problem but I do not have a service manual for this machine and the manual is no help. Finding a service manual for me is a lot like trying to find a 8 star hex bit for trailer rivets. Hasn't happened!
Thanks,
Lowell
