SP 300i will not cut from VersaWorks

We re-installed VersaWorks yesterday. After re-finding all the addresses & getting the printer recognized Ben pulled up a file to ready it for printing & it was not showing the cut contour that he had added. Thinking that it may have been the file, he opened up an old file from before the re-install & could not get it to show the cut contour either. So, his next step was to try the test plot in VersaWorks, but it didn't do anything either.

It does print & will complete the test cut from the printer functions on the printer itself. It also says that it has the most recent firmware. we also did the auto update for VersaWorks. Any suggestions on what we might have missed?

Just so there is no confusion: We know how to and have created cut contours for years now. Our old files' cut contours that used to cut before we re-installed VersaWorks now aren't being recognized. This isn't a design software or file issue, and it doesn't appear to be the printer itself, It must be something we missed when re-setting up our VersaWorks.

have you tried an earlier version of versaworks?
I have had a few issues with the latest and had to roll back to 4.11

That doesn't help at all and wouldn't help. Then Versaworks wouldn't work at all, and neither would our design software, well unless we used mac to run windows which doesn't really change our situation now does it?

We got it fixed. Ben uninstalled it again, but this time he also deleted the folder it was installed in. Then after re-installing it, rather then getting the updates for just our setup, he downloaded all of them. Apparently there is an option to install updates for just your system and ink, and if you have the same issue we did you may want to try selecting the other option which downloads all of the updates available.

One of those two things must have done the trick. Thanks everyone.
