was printing fine... shortly after sending the print, we heard a pop, sounded like a fuse, and smelled a little burnt smell, kinda like the brushes in a drill going bad smell. then we got motor error,0400 and 0100
the tech today replaced the motor but still cant figure it out, after 3 hours and hundreds later,
tells me i'm going to have to throw it out or drive it 2.5 hours to drop it off where they have more parts and can try chasing electrical gremlins, circuit boards and who knows what else, it could cost around $2000. for a ten year old printer.,
i have no problem dropping the money on it but i'm not sensing any confidence in the tech
.
any suggestions.
