sp300 cable card

having an error with our sp300 reading the material
apparently it is a wire/cable card that needs to be replaced
the tech said it's about an hour for the job and he wants to charge $295
+ part
i don't think porsche machanics get paid that much
am i off base here, is that the going rate?

Have you checked with Sign Supply.... or the new name "Proveer"
The NJ/philly service people are well qualified and I think their prices are in line with everyone else.

that's who i got the price from
we bought our machines from them so that is who i call first
but $295 for one hour of service seems kind of high

I don't think porsche machanics come to your location to fix your porsche.

You can install this yourself - it's really not that hard....be SURE to UNPLUG the printer before doing ANY electrical work.
