Static electricity

After I go through a 150' roll of laminate, the wound up liner sometimes builds up so much static on my laminator's take up reel it's next to impossible to remove. Anyone have any ideas on how to either discharge the static or keep it from building up in the first place?

humidity? Low humidity may be an issue.

You should be able to easily ground it to the metal bed of the laminator.
