A) DO NOT go directly to the hospital, primary care physician or the local Urgent Care facility.
B) DO CALL your doctor, hospital or local urgent care before leaving your location.
Be truthful and concise about your symptoms. They will give you an over-the-phone exam and make a determination as to next step best for you.
C) IF... If you are instructed to go to a specific facility... PLEASE, call that particular location before entering and announce your arrival BEFORE ENTERING. DO NOT ENTER the facilty until instructed to do so.
FAILURE TO FOLLOW THESE 3 SIMPLE INSTRUCTIONS MAY UNNECESSARILY EXPOSE OTHERS, AS WELL AS
CREATE ADDITIONAL PROBLEMS FOR YOURSELF AND OTHERS.
