We've had two requests for window perf just today and being new to printing, it's not something we've bought a roll of yet. We're ready to order a roll and I thought I'd ask a few quick questions in advance. First, the 3M versions all show a 1 Yr. lifespan. Is that realistic? The 2 customer requests have been for permanent type store front graphics to help keep people from seeing in during the day so easily. Is that 1 year number without the laminate? If so, does adding the laminate add a few years to it, or in general, is window perf known to be a short term product. It's quite expensive to be a temporary product, running over $2.25 a sq. ft for most of it not including the laminate.
Any recommendations on what's the best quality for the money in that area of materials? Also, which laminate would you recommend with the film you pick?
Thanks!
