Hello I was wondering if anyone had tried to clear deflections on a Mimaki JV3 print head with a syringe and hose or damper and hose etc?????

I do this all the time. the only time it won't work is if the face of the head is scratched. No amount of fluid will fix that.
You can also try to suck up through the bottom of the head as a last resort. There is a small screen in the head that can clog over time.

Do I just leave the head in to do it I lost the whole head and then got most of it back ...I have soaked it forever??? Do you take a damper and do it or just the hose

make sure its capped, and pull gently on the syringe, you can collapse the head if done incorrectly or you are too rough on it...
