I'm sure you'll be just fine. In fact, with the meds, you'll be super fine...
BTW sorry you couldn't take that wall job for me, Stan came by today to
thank me for passing it his way.

Hope you recover as quickly as possble, Arlo, but not so rapidly that you go back to work before you have to.
The best part of having surgery is getting to go back home, then the meds.
I saved one last percocet for the day I did my first ladder job.
It's remarkable how they give you the feeling that all is right with the world.
Seriously, good luck to you.
Love....jill

You're kidding right? You saved a pill for 1st ladder job? I guess a percocet would be okay, but I have waaaay too high a tolerance for wimpy percs. As for the feeling that all is right with the world... I describe OxyContin like this:
"Hey Arlo, that guy who chopped your legs off at the knees with a dull axe is back in town".
"Really? I'd like to visit with him. I'm sure he was just having a bad day before".

Oops! Should have said for when I got home from my first ladder job after the surgery.
I am dangerous enough on a ladder as it is.
With a percocet in me I would just stare at the ladder.

Junkie....

I kid, I too have a high tolerance for pain killers. I had a doctor refuse to give me the prescribed dose one time for an endoscopy and felt every twist and turn of the camera wire. It was so bad that I started dry heaving on the OR table and while the doctor was screaming at me to stay still I was filling the air with four letter expletives about how he should have given me the fücking drugs to begin with.

I hope your procedure goes smoother than that. Sounds like your doctors have handle on your tolerance though.
