This worries me more than Russia...

Interesting, had no idea that was happening. There will be a definite impact on the stock market. Wonder if it will get to the states and what the response will be?
Random thoughts from mu under-caffeinated brain.

I feel like this could be much bigger than Russia if they drag out this lock down. We are already in bad shape with supplies and inflation... and all that time China has been humming along.

I know, right? Thank god for the distraction.
This was not a politically charged statement, rather a literal "I'm tired of hearing the words statement" (covid, covid 19, corona virus, anti maskers, mask mandates, vaccine, ivermectin, horse testicals... many more)
The only thing worse than hearing about covid on a loop is listening to the numbnuts conspiracy theorists with their anti vax crap on a loop. Over and over and over. One never appears without the other.
I think we are going to be in for a rough year in terms of supply lines. All you can do is make sure you keep inventory and don't rely on the distributors having stock for next day delivery.

These kind of things are above our pay grade, since we're lowly sign-makers, but is it possible that China, who are clearly backing the Russians, are using a new outbreak of Covid to shutdown production in their biggest manufacturing region? The numbers are up, but not that bad, considering the latest variant is less lethal than its predecessors. Could China be making these decisions and pushing this narrative to hurt our economy? I don't play politics, but I do study them.

China has always been a freak about having zero covid. Numbers seem low to the rest of the world, but for China it's a big problem. I have my own conspiracy theory... that they released the virus into the world to test out if they could block it from attacking their own country.

I have thought the same thing for a while now. The Chinese don't care about their people so going overboard to protect them from this doesn't make a bit of sense. The Chinese are gonna loan Russia money, give them arms and then own them just like they've done to other countries all over the world.

Sorry, didn't mean to insinuate you had a conspiracy theory... was just throwing mine out there.

I'm inclined to think they are waving This covid hand over here... As a distraction for what this other hand, hovering over thaiwan is doing.
