i am looking for a printer, but very concern to choice them, a roland or mutoh, i need someone, who had experience which both, can help me make the right decide for get the roland sp 540i. or valuejet 1304 mutoh. and why?

If they are both the same price than i would get the Roland SP-540 because you get a cutter with it. I would always buy Roland over Mutoh no matter what it is just better quality built product. Don't get me wrong lot of people using Mutoh as well so i guess is personal preferences.

i like it had cutter together, but someone told me, it head fast get banding more than mutoh.!

We want to buy a larger printer, we have a SP300V, but it is true, my black print head is banding, and we are going to a show in long beach ca, in august, and well see what is going to be better for us, if is the same price, yes, I will get the roland, but mutoh's printing quality seems to beat roland's, but it all depends on the money.

Go for the Roland. I'm not saying its a better printer, but it is a lot easier to learn to use, and it includes the RIP.
Banding has never really been an issue on our VP540.

More important though is the level of support and hand-holding you get from the supplier.
