    Hello,

We want to add a 54" printer/cutter to print retail signs in our small copy shop. We were offered a Soljet SC-545-EX for 15K$ (CAD). It has been used for 4 years in a reputable sign shop (so the seller says) who is now upgrading to faster/new.

It will be guaranteed to 3 months and will be completely refurbished by a trained tech. Do you think it is a good deal ? Our other option is to buy a new machine for at least 10K$-20k$ more...

    Thank you for your input.

Sorry, not familiar with that machine, but I'm sure someone here will be able to help you.

    Welcome to Signs101 . . . !

Depends on what they do to "refurbish" it.

for that money you can get a brand new one
(not the same model but probably good enough for what you are doing)
i think new they list for about $29,000.00
for $20,000.00 you can get the new 54" versacamm vp
i would do a little more research
