Variable Data with WHITE underbase??

Hey Guys-
We have a customer who is wanting to do a clear sticker with unique serial numbers on each sticker. We plan to do variable data in versa works (we are pretty familiar with it, we do it all the time), but because these are CLEAR stickers and we'd like white ink underneath each of the unique values, is this doable?? Even if we had to skip the cmyk and just run the actual variable data as White ink only, that would be ok too.

You could do this with the Oki Data 942 or 941 that does white or clear, what size are the decals? The oki can do 13"x52" sheets

We definitely want to run them in house, I just need to know how to setup the file or versa works to allow white ink underbase on variable data information

I'm not really familiar with VersaWorks, but most design programs can do the variable data.
Personally, I'd build one version of the file that does what I need it to do (with the white underbase), then use the design program's tool that handles variable data (it's called Serialization in Flexi) do it's thing and output them to the RIP. The white should be one each version, even when the data changes.

This isn't a question on how to do variable data. It's how to get WHITE INK on the variable data field.
Yes, I realize that. That's why I said build a version of the file that works, then let the serialization function take over. On most programs, that function copies every part of the "unit" you want (including the white underbase) and duplicates it for each copy. So, even if the white underbase is only on the individual letters, that underbase would still be there on the next set of letters (or numbers, or whatever) because the serialization function would duplicate the attributes.
