Vinyl for small desktop inkjets

Looking for a way to print occasional small decals on vinyl.
I have a cheap C88+ inkjet with durabright inks, which makes the
brightest and best T shirt prints ever.

I have heard of some people using lasers and inkjets on vinyl and if true, then
a second vinyl cutter with a electronic eye could cut out the decals
from the inkjet.

Anyone on the board have first hand experience doing this ?

Thanks,

Don

Another inkjet water slide decal paper is available from many venders. After printing it gets a coat of Krylon Clear Acrylic. Two or three light mist coats.

Do a google search for "water slide decal paper". Comes in clear and white.

Is water slide decal paper really paper or vinyl ?
Does water slide decal paper have a backing that will allow
a vinyl cutter to cut out the decal ?

Thanks,

If you're just doing occasional small decals could you not just cut them by hand with a knife? A couple of clear coats with Frog Juice should protect them outdoors.
