On smaller usage machines there is very little to no power savings. IT would take years to notice the difference.

Yes it uses less amps at 220. However,,,, power companies charge for Kilowatt Hours. If you run a 1000-watt printer then you pay for 1000 watts or one kilo watt.

Now on the other hand if you run a huge machine using thousands of watts for hour then you could start noticing a savings thru reduced heat buildup in connections and other considerations.

Mine printer is running on 250 volts 3 phase. I had to get a phase converter for it and the converter stays on 24 hours. I'm curious to see what that does to my electric bill?
