Vp-540 & Dwg Format - Help

save it as a pdf
do you have illustrator
we have an old version of cad and we use the Roland to print the die layouts
(we make steal rule dies) most of the customers files are done in cad so we save them as pdf and then bring them into illustrator to make any adjustments for printing on the Roland

When you open the file in the autocad in order to give the scale, we have to choose a printer first (autocad 7,0). Could it be the Adope printer?
