Question Vp540

Hey zigns62,

You have to get your Ethernet network setup and working before introducing the printer into the mix. So, if you need help getting your USB-Ethernet adapter working, considering contacting the adapter's tech support department for assistance. Specifically, you want them to setup a "Static IP Address" for the adapter. We recommend the IP address of 192.168.005.100, Subnet mask set to 255.255.255.000 and the Gateway fields left blank.

Once they have the adapter setup for you, you can connect the printer directly to the adapter (using one Ethernet cable only), manually set the printer's IP to 192.168.005.225, Subnet mask to 255.255.255.000 and the Gateway set to all zeros.

Once this is all setup, you should be able to communicate with the printer.
