currently converting my neon room to a new digital printer/laminator room (with neon capabilities!), can't wait to post pics after seeing all your guys' shops!

more people, more! Keep 'em coming, I love these!

Here's a few quick snapshots I took of our humble place. I didn't get all of the offices or rooms, just the lobby area, conference room, printer room, main production room and a gratuitous shot of my own mess of an office. We're planning on redoing the wall paper in the lobby area as we've changed blues we use and the new blue is a bit grayer and darker, and we'll probably simplify and minimize the displays out there, it's getting a bit cluttered for my taste.

I REALLY need a conference room. hmm... back to the drawing board.

Sweet - JV3, JV33, and a Summa cutter.... I have the exact same 3. Sady the old JV3 gets little love anymore and is about to be put up for sale.

You guys have some nice looking shops.

Ha, ours is too! I'm about to get another JV33 but I "happened" to be at one our vendor's offices today and got to demo an Epson GS6000. Which normally I've not been a big fan of, but he's offering it to me for a little LESS than a JV33 so I'd get 3x the speed, a much bigger color gamut, for less money. It's very tempting, I just need to find somewhere to stash the JV3...

Ours is tiny, we just remodeled an old office a month or so ago to add it, but it's been an enormous help already. We used to have a couple chairs at everybody's desks where clients could sit down, but desks are always a mess (as mine is in the photo), so it's a but awkward and unprofessional to do that. The conference room is small by some standards, but it's big enough and is always clean and professional and ready for a meeting at the drop of a hat. I wish we'd put one in a long time ago.

Wow, Charlie, Nice lift, that's awesome - you can raise your work table to the exact height you need so you dont need to strain your neck or back while weeding fine cut lettering - brilliant! :ROFLMAO:

(No offense intended - it's pretty cool, really! )

My shop is not pretty. It's big and functional. I don't even have a sign that tells people I have a sign company. I believe the quality of work you do will say more about your credibility than all the office trimmings you can throw money at. The proof is in the pudding, what ever the he'll that means?

Haha yeah the lift is a pain to work around. The building we're in is an old car lot.

Insignia, I want your shop. It looks very nice!

so true... if a pudding chef had a messy kitchen... who cares?

the money I've thrown at my office trimmings has always been something I admitted to be mostly for my own benefit. Some people are comfortable with clutter. Myself, I do my best work & achieve the most relaxation when i can create order in my environment. It typically won't hurt business, but i don't lie to myself either & say that's it's critical... I just like it that way!

I thought I was the only one without a proper sign. Somehow I just can't find the time between paying customers to make my own sign. It's still on the agenda but pretty far down the list.

I'm bidding on one at a Sheriff's sale in the morning. It needs some lovin' but I'm sick and tired of renting a drafty metal building on a hill with a shale lane. Wish me luck.

I was too lazy to upload each image....

These were from about a year ago but most things are still the same. The shop was extremely messy when i took these photos. Our "former" shop foreman wasn't very organized. The new guy, thankfully, keeps things pretty tidy so the shop is much cleaner now... I'll have to get some new photos.

Just took these a few minutes ago. This is fairly clean compared to some days. The very first picture is the only sign I have for my business. The second photo is my actual cave where I work. I try to keep things simple and happy around here.

Nice looking shop Signmaniac, I'm surprised there's no coroplast helicopters or Polymetal sailboats under construction in the back...

Eat your heart out boys! This is my sweet setup. 72,000 square inches of sign shop heaven.
There is an upstairs but it's a little messy right now.

(If you have OCD you should probably refrain from enlarging the thumbnail.... you might have a seizure)
