I pretty much do ALL my installs dry. However I have a Firebird to put on a hood of an old Firebird and I think wet is going to be the way to go. The kit is a stock kit from Phoenix that the customer has purchased so there is a little higher level of concern for me with this particular job.
I don't do much wet install so I'm looking for a little advise on what fluid works best or maybe some techniques?
The only wet install experience I have would be with the 3m paint protectant which I install with a simple rubbing alcohol / water mixture.
My question would be can I use the same mixture with this large firebird decal? The rubbing alcohol is a drying agent and this worked well for me in the past with paint protectant. Or is there something better out there?
Fellers offers a "clear star" action tac application fluid for vinyl, has anyone used this?
Thank you
