what do you prefer gloss or matte vinyl?

We print mostly gloss... customers don't want matte... and have yet to choose it when given a choice. I try to use matte on anything that will be inside and reflect... but the customers flat just don't like it.

All materials we use are spec'd out on a per job basis, however it does seem to fall as gloss outdoors and semi-gloss/matte indoors.

Another finish we have used, depending on the project and the design lends its self to it, matt lammed the background and applied gloss vinyl cut letters.

90% matte, but we laminate almost everything with finish as required (mostly gloss laminate).
