It was stretched while applying it. Then after a while it tried to retract a little and the top part pulled ofa the reflective layer.

Two words "nikalite reflective" Use crap, get crap results!!!! Replace it with scothlite at no cost, lesson learned!

I am partial to the 3M reflective as well.
