What is your weekend/2nd car?

It's scary quick, uncomfortable for someone very tall at. Bare bones old school race car, light weight... a ton of fun as long as the weather isn't hot or raining! Had a Dodge viper a while back think he was quick, he was but not quick enough!

looks clean! I wonder what "heavy modified" could do to the mini? It is already pretty fast stock.

hehe...

Full suspension (adjustable coilovers, adj. camber plates, adj. upper and lower rear control arms, adj. front and rear swaybars and endlinks, full urethane bushings), header-back exhaust, header, ported/polished intake manifold and supercharger, supercharger underdrive pulley, accessory/crank overdrive pullies, bigger injectors, high-flow intake, high-flow intercooler with water spray, Aquamist intake charge cooler. Dyno-tuned to 271 whp/212wtq.

It rode like hell, was loud, fairly uncomfortable, utterly impractical, could not be driven in inclement weather (unless you had a death wish) but handled like a slot car and was quick as all get out. Just didn't make sense for our lifestyle to hang onto it. Bummer.

Nice car! I always wanted an '83 / '84 Hurst Olds. Back in the early 90's, a friend of mine had an '84 Hurst Olds with a 400 small block punched out to 406, the original 170 horse 307 was just wrong!

Thanks Wes. I have the 307...definitely not a muscle car. The Hurst is a sweet ride!

We discussed what car we had previously. Now, do you have a weekend/2nd car? When/what mood/what purpose do you drive your monthly washed vehicle?

Start with me, I have a 07 Toyota Prius for commuting to customers. My 2nd car is a 2002 Chili Red Mini Cooper S six speed manual. I live by the beach so you know what the weather would be like. I just love the weather and if it was an easy work day, i'd drive my mini cooper around the blocks. Maybe drive a bit faster, corner a bit sooner etec.

1. after work
2. happy mood / bad mood / any mood :rock-n-roll:
3. just for fun

Perhaps a boring thread but couldn't think of anything else.
The Miata is my daily, for MPG and fun reasons. The CTS Vsport is my 420hp family sedan that's my wife's daily, and when I'm feeling manly, I take the gas guzzling GL450. A little bit of everything in our fleet.
