Hello.
One of our clients wants us to make a door look like this:

We have worked with the Frosted Glass vinyl before, but this one looks way different.
Do you know what kind of material is that?

Thank you.

Looks like glue chip that has been ground and sandblasted, not a film. That was all the rage for a few years around these parts in the last decade.

that is not film. that is sandblasted. film only has one thickness so it looks like a silhouette.

Only way I could think of getting close is with printing a mixture of light black and white together onto clear. You'd never be able to do anything close with frosted as there is no way to leave minuscule areas of "clear".

Dammit, make it faster!!
we printed this onto etchlook vinyl and plotted it for a restaurant window. We don't have the ability to use white so we didn't get too fancy with bevels and such. Turned out pretty good.

What about printing on clear and applying over frosted vinyl? (With clear lam it would be 3 layers thick, 6ml or so)

This could happen if you laminate frosted vinyl:

Do you have a finished photo?

This is the only picture I have using an acid wash in varying degrees to create the 3D effect.
