Running windows 7...what earlier versions of Photoshop will work? From what I can tell CS4 and up will work. Looking for an earlier version just to try.

we had cs3 and that wouldn't work when we upgraded our computers(that came with sys7) so we got cs5. i would say 4 or 5 are where you have to start

I have version 6 installed along with CS5.

6 runs ok, but isn't as stable, and I don't think it uses all the available memory.

Im running CS3 with no probs at all in Win7.

I'd get CS5 just for the fact that you will receive CS5 files. I only have CS3 on my machine, and when I receive a CS5 file (Illy), there are often elements missing and I have no idea. Time to buy a new computer and install CS5 I guess..
