Where's the grey's???

Hello all, New to this great site...

I use CS5 and VersaWorks with a Roland 540EX model...with 6 colors (C,M,Y,K, Lt. C, Lt. M)
I use to run a Roland 540SP with just the 4 colors (C,M,Y,K).

When I bring up my old files the colors are way off??

Some are in RGB and others in CMYK??

And the greys are like a GREEN..???

I have done print samples of greys and I can't get then a good grey.

Any ideas?

Are you using the Roland Color Palette System? If not, you should.

I did some research and added the Roland color Palette, and MAN it helps!!

Is this correct???
In Illustrator the palette says "Roland Color System Library" is this the one I need??
It takes away the CMYK bars and it only has 1 bar for the color.....

I suppose. The Roland color codes are like "RVW-PR26K"

Added: You must also print off the entire palette in order to know how it prints on your particular media, and to have a reference.
