I was running a banner 3' x 15' ripped from flexi to our 1204. 12' into the print unit stopped printing & went on to unload the rest of the banner material without printing. I noticed that the order was no longer showing up on flexi. Has this happened to anyone else?

P.S. You don't see any of the waves that you normally get when a print stops abruptly.

This is typical of a pc/network/rip issue.

The printer 'finishes' up because it thinks the print is done.

Make sure you have the latest upgrades for your RIP software.

Are you running Vista?

Not Vista XP. This is the first time it ever happen. Just found it wierd not to see the order in the flexi program.

Sounds like a data dropoff.

a)Are you running the Printer on USB or Ethernet ?

b)Do you have the printer plugged directly into the computer, or is it through a USB hub , Router or anything?

c) What firmware version it is on your Printer ?
