Window perf lifting in corners... solutions?

We're getting complaints from a client self-install about peeling and I'm wondering about the solution.
no need to use perf for this small of an application. just make regular decals.
otherwise, you need to frame a perf application with 1/2" clear strips to keep the "fingers" of the perf at the perimeter from lifting ...which will ultimately cause the whole edge to lift & curl.

same goes with full-field window perf application: trim back 1/4" from the gasket and overlay 1/2" clear strips to bridge the glass & onto the perf.
if perf is applied/trimmed to the gasket, the vinyl will eventually lift from the expansion of the glass shoving the vinyl into the gasket and lifting over time.

Thanks. These are not laminated, and weren't intended for install on a metal door (the dreaded self-install wildcard!) We may pivot back to rigid board, mounted inside the window. I'm still looking for a window perf that I can print and mount inside the glass.
What Mike said...I would just print those on regular vinyl.

If you can't - since they are so small, are you able to print a sheet of them and contour cut them but leave the barcode on both ends. Then laminate and add a second contour cut that's 1/4" larger than the decal so the laminate extends 1/4"?

Or contour cut a sheet out and leave 1/2" in between each decal then laminate the sheet and go back with a straight edge and cut apart? IDK if you print like 20 or your doing 100's. Maybe there's a better way? IDK, just some crazy ideas for you! LOL

Don't care what film it is. I've done plenty of windows in my community. Dust, wind, rain, heat, cold etc...will take its toll. Corners are the first to go. But I carry tape and an xacto knife and repair them. No material will stay put for years without some care. JMO

How did this end up after all? We're getting complaints from a client self-install about peeling and I'm wondering about the solution. We print and inventory these to send out to locations on demand for self-install. These couple decals are local, so do we just supply them with new ones, or will edge seal tape fix this? I am now aware of 3M 8514 edge seal tape, but these seem a little far gone. We may include an instruction sheet "Do not touch within an inch of the adhesive edge. Use included strips of edge tape to seal all 4 sides." Any other advice?
Use a regular decal.. that small perf won't hold up
