window perf tip

Put down a thin strip of primer 94 around the outside perimeter of a window, let dry, then apply the perf.

I have not had any edge curling after I started doing this.

3M edgeseal around your perf is a great idea also, its like $10 and will guarantee against edge lift also.

I like the primer 94 better than the edge seal just because it makes less of a visible mess.

Primer 94 is made by 3M and is available from almost all the suppliers, usually with the "wrap" sections of the catalogs.

+1 on the Primer 94 along window edges! It has worked great for us as well and looks much cleaner than edge sealing tape in my opinion.

Does it come off the wi.dow easly after the perf is removed?

If you can't razor it off, Rapid Remover does the job.

isopropyl alcohol cleans up primer 94, even says it on the label.

disagrre with the 94, unless your using 3m perf...trim back and lam tape it
