Wiper replacement message

Discussion in 'Roland' started by inthesignbiz, Oct 19, 2012.

  1. SPV540 tells me it's time to replace the wipers.
They've been replaced but the nag message keeps appearing.

How can I reset the message?

The Printer don't check if the Wiper is new or not. Its a counter who can only be resetted with using the regular way to replace wipers through maintenance menu. When replacing the wipers using for example the service modes I/S-menu the counter will not be resetted and the message continues.

SP540V: Switch the Printer on while pressing Cleaning Button. Press the arrow down key one time, Enter, then follow the instructions (without replacing the wipers if new)
Xc540: its in the Sub Menu

  4. That's the ticket.
    Much appreciated.
