Wire tension?

I want to know how you set the wire tension? Do you set with the feel, or always with TENSION METER? How can I set it without TENSIONMETER? Thanks

I dont know what you mean, maibe have a new version of printer this options, I have SC500 and the wire tension must be set manually!!!

I dont know what you mean,

I googled it in 30 sec. The manual says you need an "tension meter".

You set the wire to 9-11lb or 13-15lb if its a new wire.

When the cable is loose you'll get a back lash on the spindle during rewind. I don't have the Roland tension tool so I adjusted the cable so slightly, until the back lash was taken out of the cable. The wire should be smooth during operation. If you're getting a bit of slack on the wire (at the spindle) during carriage movement it's time to turn the screw.

I adjust it about once a year.

Almost forgot. If you over tighten it. You'll ruin the pulley on the left of the machine. So it's better to be slightly slack.
