X5 and Automatic ligatures?

I've been searching around and can't find if X5 supports auto ligatures.
I will be very surprised if so. Can anyone tell me and if, as I suspect, it does
not. When, if ever, does Corel intend to catch up with technology that has been
around since version 8? I will not upgrade until.

Helevtica, Frutiger and Futura are also featured as OpenType Pro fonts, which provide the ability to use advanced typographic features and effects, such as the automatic insertion of old style figures, ligatures and small capital letters.

Yes, I had read this, but I can't be sure just what it means... Only These
fonts have that ability???
I'd like to hear from someone with X5 who has actually put automatic
ligatures to use.

My interpretation is that open type fonts can put it to use, I could easily be wrong though!

Thanks, my thoughts as well. It would be a big help to hear from someone who
has used it in X5.

Been there, done that and didn't care to jump into it yet, partly because of the lack of auto lig support.
