XC540 big magenta streaks

My XC540 has started spitting out big magenta streaks over anything I print. I changed the dampers and I'm still getting the same thing, to a lesser degree. Any ideas? Thanks!

never saw that before and not sure but....
check the capping station and hoses. maybe something is clogged and the ink won't drain so it's backing up in the head and on your prints.

The big drip of ink is one thing but the diagonal lines are electrical... check your ribbon cables (after and only after you turn the power off and unplug it)

The big drop of ink was from bunched up material. You were right, a ribbon cable was loose. Reattached and the problem is solved. Thanks!
