Thanks for this insight. I haven’t really looked into the differences in the types of calendar films. We’ve just always stayed with 40c because it works and so many others agree. I’m interested if you have any suggestions on comparable film that is cheaper?
We’ve been doing wall wraps for 10 years with 3m 40c-20 and Avery 2080 matte laminate. It works great. We use this in our Epson r5070 and HP latex 365.
Aren’t lasers and cncs more common the uv flatbeds? I know a dozen people and shops less then 5 miles from us that cnc or laser/ engrave. I can probably outsource those things easier then uv prints…

We bought this machine to make production faster with some of our jobs we print, laminate, and mount. I’m hoping it simplifies and speeds up some jobs. I just want to expand our offerings to help pay for this thing faster.
We just bought a large flatbed uv printer. It’s marketed as a uv for printing on objects like phone cases, lunch boxes, pens, etc.
Up until this point we’ve been primarily doing sign and wall graphics.
My question is what’s the best/ quickest/ easiest way to drum up business with our new UV...
I have exactly the same problem with GoSign! I gave up trying to figure out the best way to fix this. We use Flexi for most of our cut text. We’ll use GoSign for print and cuts and stickers.
Anyone using this lamination table by Qomolangma? It looks nice. We do a lot of cut vinyl masking and some board mounting. We’re not a high production shop at all. I like the price of this compared to Rollsroller and CWT. I noticed a lot of people seem to like their normal laminators as well...

Are you liking your Roland flatbed? We just got our Roland Versa object 640. It’s pretty much the same printer just renamed with an anti static bar. I really like the quality so far. We just did some Ada braille signs and they turned out great!
