    We make a lot of .063 alum parking signs and we print the vinyl/laminate then apply to the alum sheets. What is the best bits you have found to keep the vinyl from gumming up? This is a brand new colex sharp cut. Upcut or downcut? any specific bit you can recommended??

    2x2" alum with 8x8" plates, glue a .125 alum face on and pin mount the letters. Needing a guy wire depends on what the building is. If you can throughbolt or get about 4" solid embedment that thing is not going anywhere

    they are stud welded onto the .125 alum face that is glued to the retainer system. we typically glue the faces on the front of the retainer for a cleaner look when we are building the cabinet.

    Printed vinyl still has its place, a flatbed doesn't eliminate the need for a roll to roll in most sign shops. We still used ladders everyday on our bucket trucks too!
