I agree. I think the pressure is too high on the laminate. Either in the rollers, or the takeup reel. We usually use our hands and apply back pressure ( pull back ) to the print when laminating.
Are you laminating your prints by hand or something? Are you using a cold roll laminator? Laminate your print with the laminate roll loaded onto the machine...
Are you using a takeup reel? If so, i could be a slight pulling on the material when it activates and starts rolling it up. Is it happening within the 1st 3-4 feet?
Get yourself some of these (photo attached). Grab a corner and presto. I sometimes make sure the tape is rolled on with some pressure from a roller applicator.
