  1. HP Latex 560 :: Error 98:03

The DD is basically a open pit that has a light beam shooting from one side to the other (long side) if you are getting a 98:03 machine thinks that more than 1056 nozzles are out and quality is compromised etc etc. Best thing about the 3/5x0 series is it is a single DD that services all heads...

  3. Question HP FB950 Roller Height Issue

Check the lift encoder. Had one the other day that seemed to just lose a section all on its own, operators dont go in there so I beilve the story. They are super easy to replace and recalibrate. To remove, simply pull it upwards and out. Youll need to recalibrate once you put it back. See attached
  4. Question Cutting problems with blade length S CLASS Tangential

You can set the cutter to "constant velocity" That will test your theory
  5. Question HP Latex LX 850

With not much info to go by, Check your media settings. Ive seen the same issue with a guy who cloned a PET profile to use on 440gsm 2.5 banner. The tensions were completely not suitable. 1st Clean your main drive roller. 2nd Run it on generic banner and assess result.
  6. Banding on HP 360 Pls Help

As a test to remove vertical banding on 360s ypu can unhook the 3 printzone fans at the rear of scan axis. This can eliminate a type of vertical banding but it introduces a odd horizontal banding especially in the light inks. These heater-fans are only monitored to be on..not speed nor heat and...
  7. New Media Optimized for Tiling

We have rolled it out with a few of the L3x00 series and I am told it follows a similar process. No real documentation on it at the time but what ive noted 3x00 Only available in 8pass or higher modes Not available in dual roll, if you have prints ripped to that mode they are unprintable...
  8. Avoiding Full Bleed Printing on FB750 Belt

There was a document sent out to us stating they have removed the belt as a warranty item. Just be careful with the head flush...a swollen belt is basically a write off machine.
  9. FB500 printhead splatter

Post a pic of your "prime bar" Service printer - print tests - prime bar (from memory...on a sunday) Its like the nozzel test but speaks volumes as to condition. All head patterns should finish square to nozzels. If the centers are blown out or have the mexican wave going on its going to cause...
  10. Need Help FB500 carriage noise

You can remove the strips and flip them over in a pinch..but i doubt its where the issue is. Make sure you clean the hell out of the rails that hold them in as small debris will make it really hard to put them back in. Ive seen bearings fail many times before and usually carriage noise will...

After a few more views I think I see what you mean.
  12. Third Issue With Our L560

What exaclty do you mean by "striking the maint cart" ? I see in the vid the cloth has been puckered up a tad, is that what you are talking about? Or is it just the noise it makes every pass?
  13. FB700 Error code W-SS-5

The hose has a directional fitting when you install it in the shop vac side. If you point it up it will spary vac internals with the ink - which can eat through most things it touches. If you point it downwards it will last longer. Also make a point to open it up and empty it often. Other things...
  14. FB700 Error code W-SS-5

Can you hear the shopvac running when you do a purge/clean ?
  15. Head Height Adjustments FB700

At the point of pressing "sheet ready" you can adjust head heights to a point... Other than that load it as a short sheet which will prompt a manual height entry.
