Check the lift encoder. Had one the other day that seemed to just lose a section all on its own, operators dont go in there so I beilve the story. They are super easy to replace and recalibrate. To remove, simply pull it upwards and out. Youll need to recalibrate once you put it back. See attached

The hose has a directional fitting when you install it in the shop vac side. If you point it up it will spary vac internals with the ink - which can eat through most things it touches. If you point it downwards it will last longer. Also make a point to open it up and empty it often. Other things...

Can you hear the shopvac running when you do a purge/clean ?

At the point of pressing "sheet ready" you can adjust head heights to a point... Other than that load it as a short sheet which will prompt a manual height entry.
