I was priinting fine one day and came in the next morning and noticed all my images were way off the mark. I ran a file the size of the print image and noticed my origin is off by 2 inches to the left. I am also getting smeared images. The only thing I did was shut down the machine. Any ideas...
They just knocked the price down to 20K. They werent selling and are coming out with a bigger version. I opted to get the Mimaki UJF-3042HG. Aside from not printing on a curved surface, the thing rocks. With some creative thinking you can work around that.
I think it is just a bigger bed version. I was going to get the LEF-12 but I didnt like how the bed moves and not the head. I went with the Mimaki UJF-3042HG instead. It has a bigger bed and more clearance. The new 6042 is just a bigger bed. It is nice to have but im doing ok with what I got.
Im trying to figure out the best way to make a jig layout and have just one image i can step and repeat in Rasterlink 5. I am confused on how the spacing works. Like if I make a golf ball jig and want to print right in the center of the ball.

Ok, i tried the 5-3-1 and in my UV mode i have print and irridation. The piece looks great when the clear is laid down, but after the light hits it it is banded. Everything gets cleaned daily. I am stumped.
I am having issues when i use gloss on my 3042HG. It looks like banding when finished. Cleaned heads hard and wiped undercarriage. still an issue. Anybody got a solution?
im looking at getting the 24HD.. I have an intuos2, and im forcing myself to use the pen alot more. I just cant seem to hit the "complete order" on the 24HD yet. thinking i might do baby steps and get the 5 touch first.
