Check what the humidity is in your shop. Looks like it could be static charge building up from the pinch wheels. If your humidity is below 40% this is a likely cause. The lower the humidity is, the stronger the static charge will be. Different medias will react differently to this.

This was not uncommon on early FC9000s (disk number starting with A) later models have a reengineered handle that has been pretty robust. If you get a replacement handle it's the new design. PM me if you want to order a replacement.

Get a Roland cap top to start with. Also, the magenta line to changed to a single line isn't the channel that you're having problems with.
Did you put in new dampers when you installed the print head? Did the print head come from Roland?

Why fight so hard to cut a deal with companies you don't respect? Move on and buy something else somewhere else. There are vendors that support this site and are responsive. Work with one of them.
I've rebuilt the tabs with super glue and baking soda.
Unfortunately, you can bypass the switches because certain routines ask for the doors to be opened and closed at certain points.
