Thank You!! Checked the cap top. Couldn't pull any fluid through. Put a new cap top in, primed it and poof it's working! Once again thank you for your help.

I think we should all look at this from a business standpoint. Some sign companies are larger and more experienced than others. But, no matter which side of that your on, we all share the same site! And on the other hand we all live in completely different market areas, where the same job...

sp 540 when i first tried the bordeaux inks, i took the chip off the roland ink that came out and it would reset. but the new ones don't even have a place for the chip. i am also going back to all roland inks.

Talked to Tech I talked to a tech yesterday and he is actually stumped. The cartdrige had a chip on it and my machine always shuts off when it runs out of ink. So he says why didn't it shut off if it ran out? Maybe it wasn't completely out and just quit printing yellow. He said maybe damper...

Sp 540 Problem Tried cleaning and cleaning and printing a yellow square and test prints, every color is beautiful except yellow. On a test print it wont even print one speck of yellow

My sp540 had a bordeaux ink cart in it and ran out of yellow. I am however done with these carts. I put the new roland yellow in and now cant get her to print yellow. Any tips on how to get it to pump it up??

Bordeaux Inks Just to let you all know, I took off last night and got some cleaning fluid and a swab and gently, very gently wiping the print head and it completely fixed my magenta!!! The print test shows 100% of the jets firing..Thanks you guys so much for your help and from now on GENUINE...

I have to drive a 100 miles to get some more cleaning fluid. But I will try that and let you know if it works. Just for curiosity, is there any other kind of fluid that I could use as a substitute to keep from driving so far to get it??

I'm still new to this machine so, do I flush the magenta with a cleaning cartridge?

Got a problem and need some help! I ran out of magenta ink. The ppl at fellers said this bordeaux ink would not hurt my machine. I only replaced the magenta cartridge. Didn't print for a few days, in the mean time the power was shut off while I was gone and now all colors print but you guessed...
