  3. Etched Glass

This is easy money jobs, I cut the stencil using sign vinyl..apply, get some armour etch from a hobby store and apply as per instructions. I etch twice (apply, rinse, apply, rinse) for a uniform etch...and as they say in france..voila.
  4. Etched Glass

if you have a vinyl cutter, just cut a stencil...some armour etch from a hobby store and a garden hose. I put the etch cream on twice (apply ,rinse, apply rinse)..making the stencil is the hardest part...and is easy if you have a cutter. easy money.

  6. Vinyl, Screen-Printing or other?

yup, me too, Cadcut the foil and heat press it on ..or screenprint an adhesive and heat press a gold foil on would probably look best. The cool thing about the heat press is you dont have to press the entire image in one shot.

I screenprinted them. There are vinyls you can print with ecosols that can be heat pressed on t's ...tho the hand is pretty thick, I refuse to put that type of stuff on tshirts because of the thick feel...ball caps and bags are good tho'.

  11. new to heat press use...?'s

a teflon pillow is more handy than a sheet, I use the carrier sheets from sign vinyl instead of the teflon sheets.
  12. Does anybody have a creative way of recycling all the backing paper we throw away?

Thats what I thought it would do...Turns out it prints real nice, I use plastisols btw. I wouldnt imagine you could store these tho',.. ive seen the oils seep into the paper when it was uncured. Next time your press is set up give it a try.
  13. Does anybody have a creative way of recycling all the backing paper we throw away?

print on the silicon side, flash and heatpess on. I use it mostly for hats and caps.
  14. Does anybody have a creative way of recycling all the backing paper we throw away?

I use it for my heat press when making tshirts to keep my platen clean, I screenprint on them for heat transfers.. also for drawing templates on my plotter. I love the stuff.
