    Roland vs540i history report help!

    This is the other machine I am looking at buying, first being a sp300i. Just got the history report for it and looking for some feedback on it. Roland VS 540i $11,495 CAD from a dealer 6 month parts warranty, full set of ink, one roll of vinyl. Anybody see any issues in the history?

    Dealer got back said motor scan errors were result of a pinch roller, said once it was aligned no more issues. Does that make sense to anyone?

    Ok so that puts it right in that ball park at $7000 cad. They have a VS 540I getting refurbished this week, asking $11,495 cad with ink,vinyl,6 month warranty so this is another possibility.

    Looking at a refurbished roland sp 300i. Says it has 3000 printing hours which sounds like a lot. Still waiting to hear what they have replaced on it. So is that considered a lot of hours.

    Thx. As I am just getting into this I don't think speed will be an issue. So is there more maintenance on the sp compared to the vp, thought I read somewhere the sp was more maintenance but have read so much the last month or so it's tough to keep it all straight.

    Damn hope it's not!! Thanks for the reply. They have a vp540 but be about 4-6 weeks for parts to fix it. Also 2009 $10,695 with same warranty and stuff. I'm picking it up so it's quite the drive and with prairie winters not sure I want to do that in late december.
