Hi please be sure that you run the printhead cleaning test, also the printhead test plot. Also the screen on your printer will show you exactly what printhead is the issue.

I would go with a latex for sure. quick dry, ease and low cost maintenance,

We would recommend Flexi premium 365. Does all design, print and cut. Works great with that Hp unit. We also have Flexi Hp edition. thx Plottermaster

Hi, The color ink is not interchangeable, the white ink is the same between systems, but you cannot use the colors, I believe they are chipped differently, so you cannot load a 794 ink in a FB500 or vice versa. thx Plottermaster

Hi yes if you have tried cleaning that printhead and it didnt resolve the issue then i would replace it. Check the warranty date on it though, it might still be under hp warranty so Hp would replace it free of charge. Also be sure that nothing is done that is not done through the screen first...

Those are great units for mostly interior prints. Canvas, photos, etc. they actually accept like over 30 media types. they are easy to use and maintain. He is basically giving it away.
