Ive been searching for a printable rgb chart with formulas and have had no luck. Is there any fellow members that has a pdf or eps file of a rgb chart with formulas?
Same issue
Ive had this same issue from time to time. It appears to be an adhesive residue from the app tape. It does seem to go away but it is definiatly frustrating. Its hard to explain to a customer that it will look good in a week or so?
Laminator
Find a cheap used daige laminator. Ive been using one for 2 years now and love it. Absolutley no bubbles or creases. I think this is the only thing a daige is good for.
Daige silvering
Ive never had any luck as far as silvering on my daige. I was simply happy when it tracked within a half inch and didnt wrinkle or bubble. I switched to a seal with a heated roller and have never had silver issues.
Fluo vinyl
You can laminate the matte stuff. Also avery does make gloss fluor yellow for Richard Childress Racing. You may want to try and contact avery and see if they will sell it or can direct you. Nick woodward is the contact at RCR
I listened to all the hype and took the bait from all the advantage guys telling me the Triangle MSS inks were just as good as the Mimaki ss21 inks. They stated there will be no profile changes needed and they were completely plug and play. After trying them im not at all impressed and regret...
3751ra
the rolls have a glaze on the surface. It causes the ink to "molt" or not lay flat. Masking tape hardly sticks to it. Also when doing a test print it is very faint. I got 2 bad rolls out of the same lot from fellers and 1 directly from oracal. They both have been awesome to work...
resolution
Thanks, I did talk to Tim. We determined Ive gotten 2 rolls out of the same lot that are potentially bad. He is also sending me a complimentary roll out of another lot free of charge. Thats what I call customer service.
Different vinyl
I have an older 54" roll of 3751ra. It prints just fine on that. The issues are with the last 2 30" rolls. You can physically feel the difference.
Has anybody else been experiencing any problems recently with Oracal 3751RA. Ive been using this for 2 years now and the last 2 rolls seem to have a film on them that is causing the ink to "pot" or not lay smooth.
banding
Ive had similar issues as well. Im running a CJV. I have noticed my printer is extremely sensitive to humidity as well as ink output.
What is your humidity in your print room?
